Botox – Botox is a nonsurgical treatment used to soften facial lines by relaxing the muscles that cause frown lines. The treatment itself consists of a series of small injections of a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum. The treatment takes only minutes, and results can be seen within days, and generally last for up to 6 months.
Dermal Fillers – Restylane® is an injectable dermal filler used to treat moderate to severe facial lines and folds. Restylane® is made of hyaluronic acid – an FDA approved substance occurring naturally in human skin that adds volume. Restylane® is particularly effective for smoothing away smile lines or “parentheses”. The results are immediate and last up to 12 months.
